About Devon Noel Lee
Growing up, the walls of my family home were filled with sepia toned photos of my ancestors. My mother lovingly told me the stories of each relative who watched me grow into adulthood. Besides her few stories, I did not really know these ancestors that were all deceased long before I arrived on the stage of life.
The walls of my home are not adored with these relatives for my children to see. Their stories are quickly lessening in importance than the characters of Star Wars or the S.H.E.I.L.D. alliance. After 20 years of research, it is time for that to change. With no more children in diapers, I can patiently capture and preserve the stories of my ancestors so they may occasionally ask to hear the stories of my hot bread delivery truck Grandpa or the great-great grandfather who was blinded in the Civil War.
