Branching Out

I have had quite a year with genealogy lurking in the shadows. I have had some interest in genealogy but with a young family, the full time job of home educator, and church responsibilities, the work has just been in the background. Last April, I spent nearly two weeks scanning documents into the computer to preserve the decaying information. I started processing the information in December. Since then I've learned a lot and thought I'd create a blog that focuses on my family history work. Let's see how this goes. I hope to adapt the format as I go and hopefully will connect with others doing genealogy.
